One of the things to get lost in the discussion of the Riverdale bombing plot and the Holocaust Museum shooting is that these plots were both fundamentally foiled. Which means that Jewish institutions are actually pretty secure from attacks. JTA’s Jacob Berkman finds that Jewish leaders think so:
“No Jewish institution has woken up in the past two months and said, ‘Whoa, we need more security,’” said Elliot Forchheimer, executive director of the Westchester organization. “Enormous money has been allocated to security.[...]”
